Helping Underserved Students Succeed

Founded in 2015, Accelerate Great Schools believes every child, in every neighborhood in Greater Cincinnati deserves greater educational opportunities. Over the years, as their family of schools began to grow and earn higher grades from the state, their educational model began to change too. It was clear it was time to rebrand their identity to better reflect a more mature and aspirational look-and-feel. We transformed their old logo of a “paper airplane,” that skewed much too young for their audience, into a visual “celebration of education.” The multi-colored brandmark resembles the profile of an abstract “open book”, with the pages turning that symbolizes “turning a new chapter” in the lives of underserved students on their journey to greatness.
